The Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture is making a call for proposals to academic institutions, commodity groups, county Federations, municipalities, individuals and registered associations for project applications under the Water Resource Program. The Water Resource Program will fund projects which are of strategic value related to stewardship and management of provincial water resources to protect agriculture and recreational fishing. The Water Resource Program is administered by the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture, through the NSFA Agricultural Water Committee. Funding for the program is provided through support of the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture.
This first call for proposals has a deadline of May 31, 2016 for applications.
