Your Farmers, Your Nova Scotia.
The “Your Farmers, Your Nova Scotia.” campaign was originally launched in June of 2020 as way to connect with consumers. Since then, our Meet Your Farmer channels have featured profiles and stories of farm families located from one end of the province to the other, sharing our farm community’s favourite Nova Scotia-inspired recipes.
The campaign’s next phase is launching this Fall (2024) and has evolved to bring awareness to the vital role of agriculture in our communities while emphasizing the opportunities that will protect this vital role into the future.
Get Involved
This campaign is about more than just raising awareness—it’s about creating a dialogue between farmers and the public. We encourage you to get involved in several ways:
1. Share Your Story: It’s all about connection- your personal experiences as a farmer are invaluable to this campaign. Your story can inspire others to appreciate and support local agriculture. Use the hashtag #YourFarmersYourNovaScotia.
2. Engage with the Campaign: It takes a unified effort to amplify the collective voice of farmers in the province.
