Farm Safety Coordinator

The NSFA, in collaboration with Farm Safety Nova Scotia, is seeking a Farm Safety Coordinator (FSC) to support a culture of health and safety where every decision made on Nova Scotia farms begins with safety.

The FSC will support the farm community in adopting and implementing health and safety culture on farms through effective training and management systems. They are responsible for providing resource support to farm owners, managers, and employees in farm health and safety, while engaging with key industry stakeholders. The FSC will make recommendations to leadership on health and safety programs to be delivered. The Farm Safety Coordinator will also support the organization and industry in emergency preparedness and emergency management.
