Research Project Coordinator

The Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture is hiring a Research Project Coordinator to oversee projects that support agricultural development and innovation.

Working with the Environment & Climate Change Manager, the Research Project Coordinator (RPC) is responsible for managing and coordinating on-farm research trials and field activities in collaboration with participating farms and research partners for the Land Swap Project. This role involves project, research, and field planning, ensuring timely reporting on progress and outcomes. The RPC will also support the overall Agricultural Climate Solutions (ACS), Living Lab – Nova Scotia Project by coordinating consistent research methodologies, fostering collaboration through co-development principles, and coordinating and overseeing data management. The RPC will support the knowledge and technology transfer strategy and support the socioeconomic project team in engaging with activity leads and producers.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about agriculture, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and environmental stewardship. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of field research methodologies. The Research Project Coordinator must be a team player with leadership and collaboration skills, along with the ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences.
