International Recruitment Mission Webinar
February 26 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Are you interested in exploring international markets for employees and entrepreneurs to support your farm’s labour and succession needs?
The Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture (NSFA), Department of Agriculture (NSDA) and the Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration (LSI) are launching a recruitment mission to Germany and the Netherlands April 3-11 and would like to include up to 4 employers as part of the mission.
Demand is high for workers in the sector and Nova Scotia’s provincial immigration programs are a solution for permanent full-time labour needs.
LSI staff have developed a recruitment plan that utilizes one of Europe’s largest immigration expo – Emigratiebeurs as an anchor. Nova Scotia recruitment events will be hosted in and around this event for pre-screened, qualified candidates. Here is a link to the expo page: Home – Emigratiebeurs
LSI staff will market the destination and opportunities in Nova Scotia beginning the week of March 4, 2024. Marketing will generate leads who will be screened for experience and immigration readiness. This lead generation will allow us to provide employers with qualified and immigration-ready candidates for interviews onsite.
Employers will be responsible for travel costs, while the Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration will cover all meeting expenses, expo participation, marketing and transport between airport and hotels.
An information session will be held on February 26th at 1:00 PM for those wishing to learn more about this April’s 2024 Mission, please register through the form below:
