Are you a senior 4-H member or first year student at the Dalhousie Faculty of Agriculture who is interested in exploring careers in agriculture?

Join us for a Career Workshop to learn about eight different careers through hands-on activities.

The workshop takes place on Friday, March 15 from 9 am until 3 pm at the Ruminant Animal Centre on the DAL/AC campus in Bible Hill.

Snacks and lunch will be provided.

Career stations will be presented for Dairy Herdsperson, Beekeeper, Greenhouse Grower, Agriculture Lab Technician, Farm Manager, Christmas Tree Grower,  Food Animal Vet and Environmental Farm Plan Coordinator.  Participants will rotate through all eight stations completing brief activities related to the career topic.

This is a pilot workshop, and we will be asking for your feedback on the event.  We will provide a time for discussion as well as an evaluation.
