Farm Safety: Mental Health First Aid

Farm Safety NS is offering an in-person Mental Health First Aid Course on Feb 16 and 17, 9 am-5 pm, both days at the NSFA offices, 7 Atlantic Central Drive, East Mountain.
This is a program that was designed and is owned by the Mental Health Foundation of Canada, delivered by St. John Ambulance.
Take this course to learn how to recognize the signs & symptoms of mental health problems, provide initial help, and guide a person toward appropriate professional help.
The Mental Health First Aid two day program includes information on specific mental health disorders (ie, substance disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and psychotic disorders).
Regularly priced at $168, this training opportunity will be to NSFA members.
