The 2019 Atlantic Canada Organic Regional Network will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Sunday, June 23 at the Marché de Dieppe Market.

As a result of special circumstances these past few months, this will not be a regular AGM. ACORN is at a critical juncture and we need as many people involved in the organic movement as possible to come out. We are inviting past, present and future ACORN members to attend, as well as those who feel they have a stake in Atlantic Canada’s organic sector.

The Board will provide context regarding the organization’s recent challenges, and this will be followed by a Q&A on the same topic. An important goal at this AGM is to arrive at a general vision for moving forward. We therefore ask those planning to attend to please come prepared with your vision for the future of ACORN (e.g. 1-2 minutes statements) and to participate in a facilitated session on ACORN’s next steps. There will also be a call for nominations to the Board of Directors.
