Corporate Partner Highlight: Perennia

Perennia’s Accelerated Direct Sales Program – An easy way to create an online store

More than ever, it’s important for Nova Scotia farms and food and beverage businesses to have an easy, convenient way to sell directly to consumers, restaurants and wholesalers looking to buy their products. To help businesses achieve this goal, Perennia is pleased to offer the Accelerated Direct Sales pilot program.

This program aims to help organizations wanting to quickly, conveniently and professionally create an online store with product listing and e-commerce features. This feature can be added to a current website or used as a standalone website. This will enable you to connect with local buyers wanting to purchase your products and also includes features for custom catalogues for various types of customers ranging from retail to wholesale and foodservice customers.

Through a partnership with Local Line Co, one of Canada’s leading online store service providers, eligible program participants will receive the first six months of service free from the date of sign-up. (Must be before March 1, 2021.) If you are looking to establish your business to sell online, this program is a great opportunity to connect with a company specializing in just this thing specifically for the food industry.

In addition to making it easy for customers to buy products from you in a new way, it can also help you keep track of ongoing orders. The system is customizable to each individual business and helps to manage orders, invoices and the full sales process.

Don’t have a website? Not a problem! Use this as a standalone website for your customers to buy directly from you. There is also the option to add the store to a Facebook page.

The online application process is simple and can be found at www.perennia.ca/coronavirus.

Program spots are limited for eligible businesses, so if you are interested, we encourage you to sign up as early as possible to ensure you get the benefit of this opportunity!
