The NSFA, on behalf of AISC, is distributing the 1st edition of the Workforce Insight Survey (WIS). The purpose of the survey is to gather relevant labour market information (LMI) as well as some additional sector specific indicators to better understand agriculture in Nova Scotia.
The Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture in collaboration with 13 other Sector Councils in Nova Scotia (together, the Association of Industry Sector Councils, “AISC”) has developed a survey that needs your input. Gathering insights from employers across our province is crucial to discovering how to move forward towards a better economy, a more adaptable workforce, and more profitable operations for you and your business. This survey has been developed to better understand the challenges employers like you are facing, to quantify key LMI indicators for the agriculture sector, and to provide that information back to you – the employer, through a user-friendly dashboard to help inform your human resources and decision-making in the future. With this information, the NSFA can better respond to producer risks and challenges to assist them in growing their business by providing targeted support through new programs and initiatives.
Please note that the survey is compatible with mobile and iPad devices.
25 respondents of the NSFA WIS will be selected from a randomized draw, for a chance to win a $100 gift card from a local business of your choice. For any questions or concerns regarding the Workforce Insight Survey, contact Nick Cunningham.
