Policy Papers & Briefs

Policy Briefs at the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture provide a deeper dive into resolutions brought forward by members. Members identify issues with resolutions, the Policy Advisory Committees refines the resolution into a position statement, which is then approved by the Council of Leaders. NSFA staff then develop briefs to create a case for support for the issues affecting farmers across the province. This is a new process for the Federation and this page will be updated as policy briefs are further developed.
