This year, seven positions are available on the NSFA Council of Leaders. The Nominating Committee has received six applications to date. In keeping with our bylaws, there will be a call for nominations from the floor at the AGM.
If you are interested in putting your name forward, please note that five supporting member signatures are required for nominations from the floor. To help ensure a smooth process during the AGM on December 5th, we encourage anyone considering a nomination to submit their application in advance to smackenzie@nsfa-fane.ca.
All candidates will be asked to speak to their interest in serving on Council. If the number of candidates exceeds the number of available positions, an election will take place. Voting will be completed through an electronic voting process to ensure a fair and efficient count.
