NSFA has released the 1st edition of an economic review on Nova Scotia’s agriculture labour market. The report includes a variety of economic indicators to illustrate a state of the sector and the labour market. The report details timely and relevant data on the sector’s labour force, farm counts, financials, wages, skills, retirement, and tech adoption. With this information, gathered from our 2021 Workforce Insights Employer Survey and other secondary sources, the NSFA can better respond to producer risks and challenges to assist them in growing their business by providing targeted support through new programs and initiatives.
