Wildlife Information Session: Cancelled

Please note that the Wildlife Information Session was cancelled due to the Provincial Election call, as Government is now in caretaking mode.

Please fill out the registration form below if you would like to receive an email with information on a rescheduled session when it becomes available.

Join us in person or online for an information session on navigating wildlife-related challenges in farming. Presenters from the Department of Natural Resources and Renewables (DNRR) and the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture (NSDA) will cover the following topics:

  • To explain the Human Wildlife Conflict Stamps, including their purpose, how they can be used to address conflicts between wildlife and farming activities, and the application process.
  • To outline the Wildlife Compensation Program, focusing on how to apply for and receive compensation for wildlife-related damages.
  • To provide information on programs that support on-farm wildlife mitigation efforts.
