NSFGA Spring Workshop

The Nova Scotia Fruit Growers Association is having their spring workshop on the mornings of March 28 and March 29 from 9 am till noon.

The session on March 28 from 9am till noon will be held at the Waterville Fire Hall, 1415 County Home Road, Cambridge, NS and will have the option to attend via Zoom. Click here to register to attend the March 28 session via Zoom

The session will consist of:

9:00am  Industry updates (IFTA summer tour in NS, cold snap, recent provincial funding announcement)
9:15am  Keith Fuller (AAFC)-  Clean Tech Solutions for Replant
10:00am  Break
10:15- 10:30am  Michelle Cortens (Perennia)-  Managing with Mancozeb: Our local perspective
10:30 – 12:00pm  Manzate Panel: questions from the audience encouraged
Panelists include: Erika Bent (APM Consulting Ltd), Brian Rideout (Ontario Apple Growers), David Power (Power Farms), Daniel Toews (Autumn Acres), Cassian Ferlatte (Lutz Family Farm)

 

The Pruning Workshop session on March 29 will start at 9am at CAP Farms, Grafton (Driveway South of #127 Coleman Road, Grafton).

 

*There is no registration required to attend the Spring Workshop unless you plan to attend via Zoom
*The pruning workshop on March 29th will not be livestreamed or available virtually.
