Farm Safety: Progressive Agriculture Safety Day

Farm Safety Nova Scotia will host a Progressive Agriculture Safety Day on Friday, June 27 from 9:00 am until 2:30 pm at the Greenville Community Centre, Yarmouth County.
The day is for youth ages 7 to 13 who live on, work on or visit farms, or other youth who want to improve their general safety awareness.
Safety is shared through eight hands-on activities such as Tractor Safety, Sun Safety, ATV Safety, Mental Health, Adventure Smart, First Aid and other topics. Presenters are safety experts, local business owners or employees, or qualified resource people.
Cost for the day is $10 per participant with a $20 family rate. This includes snacks, lunch, a t-shirt and a take-home bag to share with families.
