The Nova Scotia Loyal Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Incentive Pilot Program is delivered by the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture (NSFA) in partnership with Nova Scotia Loyal. The program supports Nova Scotia farms offering CSA subscriptions by providing a 10% consumer discount, reimbursed to participating farms, and targeted marketing support to help promote CSA sales.

The Nova Scotia Loyal Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Incentive Pilot Program supports Nova Scotia farms that operate Community Supported Agriculture programs by:
- Encouraging consumer participation in CSA programs
- Increasing visibility and uptake of CSA programs across the province
- Strengthening local food systems and direct farm-to-consumer relationships
The program is administered by NSFA, with funding support from Nova Scotia Loyal.

Eligible participating farms may receive:
- Reimbursement for the 10% consumer discount applied to eligible CSA subscriptions
- Up to $2,000 per farm in eligible marketing and advertising reimbursement, to support CSA promotion (e.g., digital ads, design, photography, website updates)
- A free one-year subscription to Local Line

This program is open to Nova Scotia farm operations that:
- Plan to operate a CSA program during the program period
- Sell CSA subscriptions directly to consumers
- Can apply the required discount at point of sale
- Can meet reporting and documentation requirements

- 3. Application Review
NSFA reviews applications for eligibility and program fit.
- 4. Approval & Agreement
Approved farms receive a Letter of Agreement outlining program terms.
- 5. Deliver & Claim
Apply the 10% discount to eligible CSA subscriptions and submit claims as outlined in the guidelines.
